About TextKit

TextKit is a collection of free online tools for working with text: counting words, changing case, cleaning spaces, finding and replacing, comparing versions and more. It is made for students, writers, marketers, developers and anyone who has ever needed to fix a block of text quickly.

Why it exists

Many text tools ask you to upload your text to a server, show pop-ups, or hide basic features behind an account. TextKit takes the opposite approach: each tool is a simple page that does one job well, loads fast, and works on both phones and computers.

Your text stays with you

All processing happens in your own browser using JavaScript. The text you type, paste or open from a file is not sent to our servers. You can read more on the Privacy Policy page.

Open-source credits

The Markdown to HTML tool uses the open-source marked library (MIT licence). It is served from this website, not from a third-party server. Everything else on TextKit is written specifically for the site.
